Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

MVR stands for Motor Vehicle Record is mandatory for the carrier or employer to request the MVR of each driver or employee annually and maintain the record for a period of three years. Additionally, the carrier must regularly review the motor vehicle records of employed drivers to assess compliance with minimum safety driving requirements or identify any disqualification to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (per C.F.R. 391.15).
